Flying Fox

Flying Fox

MAZ has recently completed a flying fox in the park. After some final adjustments we have a final Code of Compliance for our flying fox. It is proving to be a very popular addition to the park. Funding for this was raised from the For Everyone Charitable Trust and Foundation North.

Recently MAZ has installed canvas shade cloths over the new BBQ’s and the children’s playground area. Funding was raised by the committee from the MELA fund, thanks Kaipara District Council for this funding to achieve this wonderful outcome!

New Multi-Sports Court is Ready

Earthworks are in progress to shape the outline of the playing field and an area to use for summer concerts. Tracks have been constructed and recently signs for walking tracks have been installed.

The park is designed to incorporate a basketball court, children’s playground, skate bowls and skate park, playing field, gazebo, bike tracks, walking tracks and a stage for summer concerts. The park is designed with the future growth of Mangawhai in mind.
